Greek chamomile flowers

Matricaria chamomilla, commonly known as chamomile (also spelled camomile). It has anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antibacterial, sedative, antiallergic, antioxidant, antipyretic, soothing, antimicrobial effects. It is used in insomnia, nausea, as a stomach softener, indigestion, neuralgia and migraines, in infected eyes (conjunctivitis), in skin irritations and wounds, in cosmetics etc., it has a muscle relaxant effect. More specifically, the species Matricaria chamomilla releases heat and reduces inflammation, thus relieving gastritis, neuritis, cystitis, rheumatoid arthritis and otitis.
