Millet is an annual herbaceous plant and belongs to the Pseudocereal family.

How can I consume it?
- It is mainly used as a substitute for rice (e.g. as a garnish with fish or meat, stuffed peppers with millet, spinach millet, millet with vegetables).
Place a cup of millet with 2 cups of salted water (generally a 1:2 ratio) in a saucepan and let it boil over low heat until it absorbs all its water (about 10 min).
- In soups. Ten minutes before you take your soup off the heat, add the millet.
- In salads
- Like sweet porridge (cream). Ideal for children!
- Combine it with legumes
- Combine boiled millet with yogurt, honey, raisins and nuts. Ideal for all days and will give you energy.
