Ktima Merkouri is a red wine perfect in all its aspects. It results from an imaginative blend that marries the deep and austere Northern Italian Refosco with the ripe and spicy Mavrodafni of Patras.
Color Deep red
Aromas of red fruits with notes of chocolate and coffee harmoniously linked with the aromas of vanilla and cinnamon from the wood. Rich body, balanced, full but soft tannins.
Pairs with: Grilled meats, white and red, offal and braised, game and hard cheeses
Aging period 12 months in French oak barrels (mainly Allier)
Aging potential 5-8 years – Try it at 18oC
