Cultivation: The largest rice field in Greece is located in the protected area of the Axios Delta - Loudia - Aliakmonas National Park, which also includes the mouth of the Gallikos River and the Kalochori lagoon, the Nea Agathoupoli wetland and the Kitros salt marsh. In this area, high quality rice is cultivated by producers with experience and passion. The selection of products is done carefully to offer you rice of top quality and high nutritional value

Characteristics: It is a yellow, long grain rice of excellent quality that has the property of being kept plump thanks to parboiling. During its processing it acquires a yellow color from the outer bark. With pre-boiling, i.e. the hydrothermal treatment method, the grain of rice is immersed in hot water and its steam. The result is the diffusion of all the nutrients inside it, which makes it even tastier!
