The secret to tsoureki is the dough and time! So we mixed eggs, butter, makhlepi and Chios mastic extract, creating an extremely chewy and aromatic dough. Then, we rested our dough for a while, and we knitted it by hand, giving it the characteristic and unique – in each piece – shape.
