RETHYMNO RED Organic Dry Red Wine aged for 12 months in a barrel 750ml -Zoumberakis-

Varietal composition: Kotsifali and Liatiko in percentage 70/30% Category, origin: Organic Dry Red Wine with 12 months aging in barrel. Local Wine of Crete. Vineyard: Mountain vineyards in Kali Sykia at 600 meters altitude. Harvest in early September. Vinification: Classic red vinification and staying with the grapes for 15 days to receive the color and all the aromas from the first stage. Fermentation at 25 degrees for 15 days in separate tanks and remaining with the fine lees for 60 days to enrich the body and aroma. Then they are mixed.
Clear deep ruby red color, aromas of red fruits as well as barrel and vanilla aromas due to being barrel aged for 12 months. Full body and round acidity due to the high altitude of the vines. It accompanies excellent meats and braised dishes as well as most dishes of Cretan Traditional Cuisine based on meat.
